3. Information we collect
When you submit a form or book a consultation, we collect:
- Identifiers: first and last name, email address, phone number, ZIP code or state of residence

We do not knowingly collect Social Security numbers, banking information, or full medical history through our marketing forms. That information, if needed, is collected later through a carrier's secure underwriting application.

5.3 Legal and safety
We may disclose information when required by law, court order, subpoena, or to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others.

If VP LIFE LLC is sold, merged, or restructured, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. The acquiring party will be bound by this policy or a successor policy.
We do not sell your personal information for money.
6. Cookies and tracking pixels
We and our service providers use cookies, web beacons, and similar technologies, including:
- Meta Pixel for ad measurement and audience building
- Google Analytics and Google Ads tags for traffic measurement and conversion tracking

You can disable cookies in your browser, but parts of our forms and booking flow may not work correctly without them. You can also opt out of interest-based advertising at the Digital Advertising Alliance (optout.aboutads.info) and the Network Advertising Initiative (optout.networkadvertising.org).
7. TCPA notice and consent
When you submit a lead form on one of our properties, you provide prior express written consent under the federal Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) for VP LIFE LLC and its agents to contact you at the phone number you provided, including by automatic telephone dialing system, prerecorded or artificial voice messages, and SMS text messages, about life insurance products. This consent applies even if your number is on a federal or state Do-Not-Call list. Standard message and data rates may apply.
Consent is not a condition of purchase. You can buy a policy from us without giving consent to be contacted by autodialer.
You can opt out at any time by:
- Replying STOP to any SMS message
- Asking the agent on a call to remove you from contact lists
- Emailing victor@vplifeinsurance.com with the word "STOP" or "Unsubscribe"
8. Your rights
Florida does not currently have a comprehensive consumer privacy statute equivalent to California's CCPA. As a matter of policy, we offer the following rights to anyone who has submitted information to us, regardless of state of residence:
- Right to access — ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you
- Right to correct — ask us to fix inaccurate information
- Right to delete — ask us to delete your information, subject to recordkeeping rules that may require us to retain certain records (for example, TCPA consent logs and insurance application records)
- Right to opt out of marketing — tell us to stop marketing to you while keeping your record on file for compliance purposes
To exercise any of these rights, email victor@vplifeinsurance.com from the address you used when you contacted us, or write to the mailing address in Section 1. We will respond within 45 days.
9. Florida Information Protection Act (FIPA)
We comply with the Florida Information Protection Act of 2014 (Fla. Stat. 501.171), including its breach-notification requirements. If a breach affecting your unencrypted personal information occurs, we will notify you and, where required, the Florida Department of Legal Affairs within the timelines set by FIPA.
10. Children
Our services are intended for adults age 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has submitted information to us, contact victor@vplifeinsurance.com and we will delete it.
11. Data retention
We retain your information for as long as we have an active relationship with you, plus the period required by:
- TCPA consent recordkeeping standards (we retain consent records for at least 5 years from the date of consent)
- Insurance recordkeeping rules of the State of Florida and any other state where you reside
- Tax and accounting requirements
After those periods expire, we delete or de-identify your information.
12. Data security
We use commercially reasonable security safeguards, including:
- TLS encryption for data in transit between your browser and our forms
- Vendor selection that prioritizes SOC 2 or equivalent attestations from major providers
- Access controls limiting which staff can see lead and policyholder data
- Multi-factor authentication on administrative accounts
No system is perfectly secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security and you provide information at your own risk.
13. Out-of-state and international visitors
Our services are operated from the United States and intended for residents of states where Victor Plasencia holds an active insurance license. If you visit our site from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States.
14. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. If we make a material change, we will post the new policy on this page and, where required by law, notify you by email.
